Der deutsche Philosoph und Soziologe Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno (1903-1969), der neben Max Horkheimer (1895-1973) als Hauptvertreter der kritischen Theorie der Gesellschaft gilt, hat sich in seinem Aufsatz «Theorie der Halbbildung» mit dem Begriff der Halbbildung beschäftigt. Was unter Halbbildung zu verstehen ist und welches die wesentlichen Gründe für die Entwicklung und die Herrschaft dieser Halbbildung sind, versuche ich im Laufe dieser Arbeit zu skizzieren.
